I’m Suzie Champion, an Eclectic and Integrative Counselling Psychotherapist, working with a range of approaches and strategies that are tailored to suit the needs of the client’s aims and goals. Since 1997, I have been supporting people in helping themselves back to self-worth, confidence and autonomous and healthy lives.

Below, is a very small amount of the written feedback (unedited) I have received from clients over the years who have gained a sense of peace, achievement and autonomy (names have been removed to maintain confidentiality).

I feel much more optimistic about my future and better able to recognise reasons for my anxiety

  • Helped me work through a difficult time.
  • Has given me the tools to continue to work on the goals set.
  • Taught me how to deal with difficult situations better.

I feel that my sessions have been just what I needed to gain some clarity and understanding of my current situation. Suzie has been excellent in helping me to work through particular areas of concern in a practical way (i.e. not just saying, ‘how do you feel?’ but getting me to work out what is behind my thoughts and feelings).
I am incredibly happy with my sessions.

Although it was work stress that initially brought me here, I felt these sessions have helped me explore underlying issues and taught me strategies to deal with problems.

At first I was very unsure about coming to counselling, however, I feel that the sessions have helped me to become a better person and realise that I am worth something. Thank you!

I feel that having these sessions has made a big difference to me and how I now am beginning to view things. I also feel a lot more relaxed and at ease with myself.

Excellent service – once every session I’ve felt genuinely uncomfortable, but in a good way! It’s been a safe space at all times, and I’ve tackled issues I’ve not been able to do myself for a long time.

Outstanding. It has been wonderful to group my thoughts. To recognise my self-worth. To allow myself to see me as a worthwhile human being that deserves to be happy. Great progress and look forward to life without fear.

I found Suzie easy to talk to and supportive. She helped me through a tough time. Things aren’t perfect now but significantly better.

Improved communication between us. Very helpful to have space to explore our differences. It has been a very positive experience for us both and made a change to our relationship. Thank you
